Who We Are

Vicki Niro, owner of The Stitchers' Academy, has years of experience as a paralegal and legal claims administrator for 2 Worcester, Massachusetts law firms.  After the birth of her 3rd son she left the law field to stay at home with her 3 boys.

Working within the local sewing community for many years as a teacher, sales person and as a certified factory authorized technician for Handi Quilter, Longarm Quilting Machines has allowed her the opportunity to gain knowledge and share her love for the fabric and fiber industry.  During this time she has fine tuned her seamstress skills and is now an accomplished seamstress with extensive alterations knowledge and experience.

Her other passion, is working as an independent contractor for a local fabric manufacture, Quilting Treasures a Division of Cranston Printworks located in Webster Massachusetts, where she is a published quilt maker and pattern designer.
